Michael Clohesy performs his tribute to Neil Diamond in the show “Song, Sung Blue”

Michael Clohesy is well known for his wonderful tribute to the legendary Neil Diamond in the show “Song, Sung Blue”.

Michael has spent most of his life entertaining in clubs, pubs, lounges, RSL’s and on cruise ships around Australia. He began performing in clubs singing rock n roll music when he was 18. He later made his mark in Melbourne with the popular rock-n-roll group “The Great Pretenders”.

He had his first introduction to Neil Diamond’s music whilst listening to his parent’s album; “Hot August Night” as a boy in the 70’s.

Michael brings the magic of Neil Diamond to the stage with his great sense of showmanship, replica costume, Neil Diamond signature guitar and precise vocals.

A professional musician for more than thirty years, Michael is especially gratified when fans acknowledge him with comments like, “You sound more like Neil Diamond than he does.”
